This wine is a typical example of a Chablis 1er Cru. The South-East facing vineyard benefits from morning sunlight and the wine derives its typicity from the mineral soil giving a flinty, chalky mouth feel. Crisp and well balanced on the palette with a long aftertaste, this wine will benefit from cellaring for up to 10 years.

In addition to the accepted pairing of Chablis and seafood, this wine would be perfect with river fish such as pike, creamy sauce based recipes or white meats.
