The 2004 Sheridan Vineyard is composed of 43% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 2% Petit Verdot. It was aged for 21 months in 35% new French oak. Firm in texture, with sharply focused black cherry, blackberry and tarry notes competing for attention against fine, crisp tannins. A creamy note adds interest to the finish, hinting at licorice as the flavors linger. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2009 through 2014. 945 cases made.
